Can Freepers handle it emotionally?
Edited on Fri Oct-14-05 12:28 AM by Check12
Think about it; your political ideals have been molded for the last five years to be one unified talking point at a time. They march like little soldiers to the beat of the big RNC drums all synchronized and scripted at every turn. Now, all of a sudden they fall into deep divisions over the supreme court nomination.

Now what does joe freeptard do? OMG I have to make a decision on which side I will be on. I have to support GWB, but my religious leaders are defying the president. Please lord help me to figure this out and make the right choice.

It warms my heart to see this happening to freepervile. :nopity:

1. Yeah, which side does Christ support? Miers or Coulter?
These people are hilarious if only they weren't so pathetic.

14. Yep. I hope someone's watching him.
I mean, I know people are, but--I've always thought that if the shit started coming hard enough, he might pull a "Stillson."

4. One can always hope,
My fundie neighbors are reading books that reconcile Darwin with Christianity (rejecting creationism) and they are not really happy with Bush these days. They are anti-abortion, but that issue isn't as important as it used to be now that they are struggling to keep food on the table and gas in their cars.

5. They can't handle it, no. But fortunately, they're all cowards.
Nothing to worry about from freepers. Their oft-kicked dogs are going to have some bad days, though.

6. Remember, a disatisfied freeper might be ready for a change.
If we can be open minded enough to talk to these people at this pivitol time, we may be able to get them to quit drinking the koolaid.

Their basic beliefs AREN'T being supported by the rethugs. Even if WE disagree with them, WE aren't about to PUSH our agenda down their throats. WE just want them to have FACTS to make better decisions.

Being happy that they are miserable is possibly a waste of an opportunity.

Sure some of them are so gone they are hopeless, but some just really believe FAUX news and haven't a clue.

If they are willing and able to look at the facts, then maybe there is a chance that they will swing much closer at least to center where they can be reasoned with about things like having competent people in charge of very important roles such as FEMA.

Inroads people. It's going to take more than just the DEMs or Progressives to get this country put back together and really, those who voted for B*** should do their time in repentance by stepping up to the plate and fixing their party. Dumping the bozos and adopting a zero tolerance for Bushit.

9. I agree with you..
Minds and hearts are never changed with hostility and contempt.
Freepers that I know personally have not heard from me about their troubles and they have a right to their opinions. I just think it is interesting that the unified message is broken at a very crucial time for the president.

16. One on one, face to face they are different than on the web.
And when the DEMs et all are reasonable, I see the rethugs sitting and thinking about their response. They still want to prove they are right but they are listening.

7. Two years ago I met a Nixon Fan
I was amazed, but this guy still considered Nixon a saint, and St Bush, well he came from god to save us... and when he dies, his last breaths will be in defense of these two

13. I agree, freepers will not be saved. Republicans on the other hand
actual living, breathing conservatives with functioning minds, hearts, souls and integrity, will work in earnest along side every other concerned American to heal and repair the nation and our reputation in the world.

10. They are in complete denial. They think Bush is still popular.
Talk about grasping at straws!! The left is exploding. This kind of NA NA NA NA NA crap will only turn off more normal people, and the nuts that hate Bush already are never going to change their minds.

I guess these people do NOT care that as they tear this fine man DOWN....they are also ruining the respect of the office of the CIC and the POTUS for all of the world to see, and mimic.
