What percentage of the US military approved bush's Iraq war in 2004?
56%.

-Military Times survey, December 2004

Nb: Survey done with 50% of the respondants being officers, who make up only 15% of the military and are 70-80% republican; the other 50% respondants were enlisted troops, 2/3rds of whom are Dems or Indys and ONLY ONE-THIRD are republicans. In other words, reduce the officer respondants to 15% and bush is down in the 30s.

Military Times needs to ask the enlisted troops that same question now...let's see if they can beat the % of African-Americans (2%).

1. They learned from Gallup how to skew surveys to fit a desired result.

2. Oh yeah, 50% officers when they're only 15% of the military???!
But even over-polling officers by 35%, ONLY 56% approved of bush's Vietraq. A year ago.

Now troops are on their 3rd or 4th tour and Cheney the Dick says "years" and Strawman Jack says "a decade" and the troops keep getting their pay cut and their benefits cut and their tours extended and backdoor drafted and their housing cut and still short on ammo and rifles and body armor and aromored humvees...

Let's see a poll of the troops now.

3. true dat, Roland, true dat
Gallup has sold out to the max. They are now a partner with business. You can't be a whore for 40 months, then get religion for the election. Their money is made in the world of fat city corporations, and their bias in polling reveals it.

They set up their polling so that it is regressive, overstating the stay at home rightwing vote.
