4. What gets me is that we are paying for these vacations
while we, ourselves, work during his vacation times.

5. Fun protest idea that will never work: Vacation with the President!

I'm well aware it will never in a brazillion years happen, but imagine if everyone in the country just stopped going to work while he was on vacation. Every time he goes on vacation, we all go on vacation too.

I think it would be hilarious.

9. No, that's the beauty of it. EVERYONE goes on vacation until
Idiot Son is done with his. Then we can all go back to work together, rested and ready to work hard.

(You see, of course, how it will never happen. But it is a fun fantasy. Plus, if it did happen it would last about 1 and a half days, tops, which means the idiot would have to get back to work. It'd be a perfect plan if it were physically possible to pull off. But it's not.)

12. But, but, but,
since he takes off most of August, and if we all did too, wouldn't that make us <gasp> like Europeans? Old Europe I mean.

14. Catch-22 ... if enough people did this ...
... then we wouldn't have that fascist fart to deal with in the first place.

If there's anything wrong in this country, the fact that a general strike is so far out of the realm of possibility is right at the top of the list.

17. Well I was just joking around. Even in a utopia I don't think it would be
possible to get the entire U.S. workforce to go on vacation or stay home while * vacations.
People are disconnected, people want to live their lives. Not to mention it would be impossible to organize it.
However, a girl can dream and work for it anyway. Camp Casey and Sept. 24th was a good start.

11. There are Soldiers and Marines and Sailors whose vacation
was a break at home between another whole year in Iraq or Afghanistan. Would it kill this lazy, pampered, overprivileged silver-spooner to spend a few weekends in D.C. working on the buzzardfuck he created?
My friend's daughter is doing patrols in Fallujah with the Marines, and her husband is stationed in Afghanistan while her in-laws keep her 10 month old baby. She had four months with her before deployment. She'll go home in December, January or whenever, have six months of being home and then go to Afghanistan for about a year. Chimpster, you complete wimp, THAT is work.
I spoke to a Marine the other day who was stationed at Gitmo. He didn't have the words to convey the hell we've made there. THAT is work; hard, hard, hot, scary work that doesn't make you feel like a hero. He got into airconditioned quarters for down time around 11:00p.m. and God help him he he snuck a minute of cool air during his 17 hour day. That's doing the work Bush made. No weekends in the country for him.
This infuriates me beyond my ability to explain how I loathe his slothful ass.
A real leader tries to understand what his men are experiencing, not sit on their ass sipping Daquiris!!!
This rant doesn't even address the fact that they (all the evil war cabal) should be spending every waking minute fixing their self-made disaster. THEY OWE IT TO THE PEOPLE THEY SCREWED.
What would Bill do? Not scamper to Marine One for some R&R!

15. I'm just so mad when I see him
flying off for some rest that it literally spews out of me.
I'd like him to spend a weekend "resting" in one of the hotels that the Katrina survivors are living in. Bush in a $59 a night
room - a Motel 6 perhaps - with a slinky bed spread and no room to move without scraping your shins on something is an idea I would love to mull over for a while.
