Republicans are against affirmative action, but
I notice at FreeRepublic everytime a black Republican is running for something they advocate voting for them because they are black and so they can have something to use against Democrats. I think that's pretty ignorant thinking on their part. I like seeing minorities elected to office, but race does not factor into the reasoning for my voting for them. What they are doing is advocating affirmative action for the Republican Party.

minorities are seen as window dressing.

An African-American Republican politician serves the same purpose as an African-American valet.
