Deep down for all we know he could be scared shitless. Remember Cnn made a report that told how the White House called Fitzgerald ruthless and a bully. ;) Remember that Rove is pretty okay with PR. He's been so busy trying to save his own ass he's forgotten to save Bush's.

Even though Rove's not been indicted, the threat is allegedly hanging over his head.

This is what I know about people who have been indicted:

It consumes every moment of their lives. They are, quite naturally, obsessed with it and all an indictment entails. They are scared out of their minds and struggle constantly to stay rational, since staying calm is beyond them without some pharmaceutical help.

They are people planted on the edge of madness, and nothing they can do will change that. Their fate is in the hands of others, and, I would veture, for a control freak like Karl Rove, this time must be extraordinarily excruciating.

They are the most pitiful people I've even seen, and I decided a long time ago to do the right thing always and never get myself into such a situation.

It is Hell on Earth, I am convinced.

Karma is a bitch. Some part of me feels bad but than I remember all he's done to people over the years and to this country and I don't feel bad anymore. He's done this to himself and his family.

Look at how Bush has been lately. He's been crappy and screwing up all sorts of things. Especially with getting caught with the scripted event. They've been really scrambling around. You don't even have to be able to sense it either, but you can clearly see it with your own eyes. They're trying to play it cool, like nothing will happen, when in reality they're scared out of their minds of getting caught. Remember they've been waiting for this for thirty something years and planning everything at least since the early 90's.

I love it. You could tell he and Miller were just doing it for the cameras. Fitzgerald looked so serious and professional (and quite cute). He just went and said "hi" and than off to work again.
