Maybe I am nuts, but it seems like W's cronies, especially his mommy figures come from mostly 1950s sitcoms.
- There's Hazel (his mom), Aunt Clara from Bewitched (Harriet Miers), June Cleaver (Karen Hughes), Jim Anderson (father knows best - his dassy), Julia(Condi) and of course the Beaver(John Roberts).
Looks like juniors mind must've stopped developing when he was about 13.

4. As well as ...
... Lumpy (Scottie McClellan), Floyd the Barber (John Bolton), and isn't Alberto Gonzales the same guy who used to be Pepino, the hired hand, on the old Real McCoy's show?

As for Karl Rove, who knew that that sloppy old drunk Otis would turn so nasty, once he sobered up and left Mayberry.

5. I'm wondering if Otis didn't sober up
(at least temporarily) and move to 1600 Penna. 'Course I'm not sure the soberin' "took."

7. Well, consider: Its all propaganda anyway
so, it shouldn't be any surprise that the members of this criminal group remind you of characters from pop culture.

After all, the lies they tell try to shape the image of a warm, compassionate, self-made, hard working man. But we know its bullshit.

They are trying to capture the same warm feelings that the naive public gets when they think back on the "good old days" (which never really happened as they remember it now).

8. Call me crazy, but ...
For years now, every time I see the Bush Baby talking about something (anything), I keep thinking of the Tommy Flanagan character from the old SNL: "Yeah, we're going to be successful in Iraq, yeah, that's the ticket ... and my wife, Morgan Fairchild, thinks so, too!"
