1. How can 39% approve Bu$h after all this stuff?
Who does CNN poll, the WH staff, selected residents in Crawford? I don't get it, how can he still be so high in the poll numbers?

3. And that's Gallup.
So you know the real number is 4-5 points lower than that.

5. Never Thought I'd See Him Below 40 On Gallup
Seriously. It's broken through a barrier here. W/ indictments, we could see some polls hit the 20's. I didn't think so before, but now I think it may be possible. The bandwagon effect is in full swing, which means, the sheep will follow popular sentiment, and it is now popular to hate Bush.

6. It's becoming easier with each passing week to be stridently anti-Bush,
even amongst conservatives.

7. Because they poll the diehards also
It wouldnt matter if smirk were convicted of raping little children, the diehard whackos would still say hes doing well.

I for one am glad that at least most of this country sees through the propaganda haze. To be honest the way media pampers him , its amazing those numbers are really as low as they are.

8. I can see how its 39%
All the time on this site i see people posting about how can his poll numbers be so high? Who do these people ask? Well let me tell ya, around here in Indiana, I know a lot of people that completely support Bush, some of my conservative friends who listen to con. talk radio 6 hrs. a day to go home to some O'Reilly before bed don't think they're that low and its just the media trying to make him look bad. I know many people that support Bush and think Liberals are "ruining America and need to be stopped anyway possible" as one friend put it. They don't know my political stance I know I'll never convince them so I just go and throw up whenever they start talking about the "evil liberals", "liberal media", France, Kerry, Hillary, etc.

12. Only diehard partisans are left
I'd say the 39% is mostly diehard Republicans who will never abandon him.
