2. I wondered about that this morning.
Maybe I'm slow. But it occurred to me that embarassing and silencing Wilson may not have been the goal in the outing of Valerie Plame.

The real goal may have been the destruction of an entire WMD intelligence gathering arm that threatened to unravel the rational for the Iraq invasion as well as potential future aggressions.

Maybe that's where Fitz is heading?
