Good routines. INews 5000, Lawton Smalls, Future Marc(s), Marc the Shark, Cardinal Milfington, Marc's stalker, etc.

Good discussions, interviews, and the pacing is very good.

on edit: Oh yeah! Marc's stalker.

34. Not a talk show host - journalist
Big difference. Amy is worth more to progressives than all the opinion people put together. (Unfortunately, I only can listen to her on podcast - but I do have an AAR station!)

7. I like Stephanie Miller myself
Her show is probably the funniest, and she has clever little handles for cons, like "noted transexual plagiarist Anne Coulter."

31. Stephanie & her guys are the best
She is so funny, together with Jim Ward & Chris laughing in the background.

They make me laugh so hard - last week her parody of bush's staged interview of the troops was hysterical.

8. What is your criteria
Do you mean out in the world? Ratings and such?

Or here, in DU land.

Out in the world, it's Big Eddie.

And I voted for him here as well. But I KNOW he's not the most popular here.

the most, who is on the most stations, who gets the highest ratings, who gets the most fan-mail?

11. Stephanie Miller is really great
Her show is very well done, with a lot of wry humor. Very entertaining.

I enjoy Franken and his great guests, and Franken's honest humanity.

I love Malloy's fire and indignation.

I really like Ed Schultz's "I'm a regular guy" vibe.

I haven't heard enough of the others to fairly comment.

13. Al and "Big Ed"
When Ed is on - I can shut my eyes - and it's like my Dad was still alive. Dad's been gone a while - but Ed has the "style" and "delivery" of my Dad and his "cronies".

16. Malloy has the anger that...........
all of "us" should have simmering. He takes no prisoners. When a wingnut says the wrong thing they are toast. I like all of the Liberal Talkers, but only a few work like Rhandi or Mike.

I think that not enough have trid his show. The amount of information, historical background and true progressive concepts that Thom delivers in three hours is dizzying.

21. Stephanie Miller
Because she is the most clever.
Randi Rhodes is a close second for her in your face commentary. Although sometimes that gets really annoying.
Jerry Springer is great at breaking down an issue and explaining it so everybody can understand it
Ed Schultz is the everyman's progressive
Al Franken is the intellectual progressive and in a lot of ways he is the face of the progressive radio movement.
I like Lionel (lionelonline) because he asks the best questions, he is always prepared and he can destroy someone in a debate quite easily. I saw him on MSNBC in a debate and the moderator brought up the issue of apartments that don't allow smokers and whether smoking is an addiction under the IDA. Lionel said you can make a strong case for it being an addiction and quoted several passages from the IDA. The pukie moderator was left speechless.

24. Most liberal would have to be Laura Flanders
going away. Those listed are all within a couple points of each other with Ed Schultz being a point or two below the rest.

26. You're All Forgetting Bernie Ward and Ray Taliaferro
Out of KGOam810 San Fransisco. What could be more liberal than San Fran?

I rate Randi Rhodes THE BEST
But Bernie Ward is a Close second.
Then Steph Miller(Whom I have listen to since her KFI/Los Angeles years)
Guy James I rank 4th.
Ray Talliaferro
Mike Malloy
Ed Scultz
Laura Flanders
Then the rest of Aia America's Hosts

42. Bernie and Ray run rings around the rest of them.
I would bet KGO's reach is greater than all of the others. Bernie and Ray have been in the business for YEARS.

That radio station is the standard by which all other talk radio stations can be measured, and unlike almost all others, they don't have syndicated hosts.

Stephanie Miller is informed, funny, great production values - everything you could possibly want in liberal radio. Far more on the mark than Randi in my opinion.
