Barbara Boxer - add author to her resume. Great interview in
the November 2005 issue of More magazine. Talks about how she got into politics, her marriage, kids, relationship with Hillary and other female Senators and her new book. Article is a good read. (There is a link to the magazine but I didn't see the article available online - www.more.com)

The article discusses Boxer banging on the Senate door demanding the stuff shirts on the Judicial Committee handling the Clarence Thomas hearings to open up and let Anita Hill testify. It, also, mentions her taking on Condi Rice and her confirmation hearings, practically calling Condi a liar, her willingness to discuss voter fraud and getting 4,500 roses on Valentine's Day as a thank you for her work.

Boxer wrote a novel in longhand on the flights back and forth between DC and California. The novel, "A Time to Run" published this month by Chronicle Books, about a feisty female politician taking on DC. Let the fun begin trying to identify the nasty politicos she protrays in the book.

Think I'll buy a copy, no matter the critics (and she will be burned by MSM media fiends) just to support her.
