7. It would have to be more than an alert to overshadow this. nt

2. I'd say it's completely unpredictable, since Fitzgerald seems to have

no regard for the press whatsoever.

If it were being run by a political hack, like Ken Starr... I would guess... oh... Monday, 9AM?

*edit*- oh but you said "announced". I never even considered that the announcement might be at the indictees' discression. It's not, is it? I thought Fitzgerald himself would make the announcement.

3. I think it should be late at night, so these bastards can start on the
way out the same way the Supremes put them in.

8. Hey Tom,you know B* trashed the novel that your name appears in at
Harvard Businness School

Don't have the exact quote but he said it was nothing but Communist propaganda (paraphrasing)

I think the novel AND the movie are CLASSICS

17. Thanks for that info. Here is the quote
The Grapes of Wrath is indeed a national treasure.
Steinbeck wasn't perfect, and actually turned out to be cold warrior in the end (he supported the Vietnam War), but this book... and the way he could write... he had such an amazing gift.

Anyway, I googled to find out what Bush said (god, i love Google, not good to love a big corporation...but i do love google)

Here is the quote:
President George W. Bush was introduced to the film "The Grapes of Wrath" as a student at the Harvard Business School, where he got admitted on his family's name. "I wanted to give the class a visual reference for poverty and a sense of historical empathy," macroeconomics professor Yoshi Tsurumi told a researcher for Kitty Kelley's book, "The Family: The Real Story of the Bush Dynasty."

"George Bush came up to me and said, 'Why are you going to show us that commie movie?'" Tsurumi recalled. "I laughed because I thought he was kidding, but he wasn't. After we viewed the film, I called on him to discuss the Depression and how he thought it affected people. said, 'Look, people are poor because they are lazy.' A number of students pounced on him and demanded that he support his statement with facts and statistics. He quickly backed down because he could not sustain his broadside."

I gotta add this info to my website. quickly before it is a quote from an ex-president.

15. here's the snip
In a move people involved in the case read as a sign that the end is near, Fitzgerald's spokesman yesterday told the Associated Press that the prosecutor planned to announce his conclusions in Washington, where the grand jury has been meeting, instead of Chicago, where the prosecutor is based. Some lawyers close to the case cited courthouse talk that Fitzgerald might announce his findings as early as tomorrow, though hard evidence about his intentions and timing remained elusive.

link won't do much good, it's a registered site

13. My guess is tomorrow, around 1:00 PM.
I say that because the GJ is meeting tomorrow, and Fitz will call for votes in the morning. He will then go downstairs and file the indictments and announce publicly.

16. If the scenarios we're reading about are true
they will be announced after close of stock market trading for the day.

IMHO, YMMV.
