Few basic questions

Why was Enron's damage to California or its connections to Bush administration energy policy given almost no attention in the media?

Why did the media take eight months to get around to reporting on the false nature of the Niger documents?

Why did the media wait until the CIA probe to begin any serious coverage of the leak scandal?

Why does the media have no memory vis a vis Bush administration statements? Why are Rumsfeld and Cheney allowed to claim whatever they wish at whatever time, even if it directly contradicts their previous and recent statements?

Why does it appear there are be two different standards for each political party? Why does an action by one garner media fury and extensive coverage, while the same action by another is met with only indifference?

Why should one spend a half hour watching Tom Brokaw and learn almost nothing, when one can spend ten minutes looking at print news online and learn almost everything about anything? Why is TV news a kind of awareness euthanasia?

I don't doubt the media bias. What I'm curious about is why it is there, how it got there in the first place, and how it can be combated.

"State Controlled Media." No we don't have one that is
officially controlled but it has that feeling.

The second answer is the intereset of the corporatist party
and the six corporations that control the media are the same.
