How culpable are Bush's media enablers for the damage to America's reputation during Bush's disastrous reign? Watching the Frontline feature, The Torture Question, it's hard not to place a good share of the blame on journalists who have spent the past half-decade sucking up to this administration.

While this was going on, Pre$$titutes were busy pushing a "Bush Stands Firm" storyline. And after this was done in our name, Pre$$titutes went about trashing John Kerry as he tried to unseat Bush and restore some shred of dignity to the White House.

So here we are, and you'd think Pre$$titutes would develop a rudimentary conscience. But browse our recent archives and you'll see countless cases of rank Pre$$titution - even as Bush's approval ratings enter the Watergate zone. And no doubt there's much more to come...

With the inbedded reporters and all.

I do think there are more hopeful signs the last few months; but i'm a naturally optimistic person.
