PBS FRONTLINE: "The Torture Question" - LIVE WEBCAST TODAY 12:00 PM

as I remember, they alluded to a memo which implicated * directly. No bones about it.

this cannot be missed. It is one of the best Frontlines I've seen yet. Powerful, thought-provoking...to say the least.

After seeing this I wonder if * could get NAILED for war crimes.

I hope everyone gets a chance to see it.

An awful lot of Americans seem to think that this kind of torture is honorable and justified.

they don't seem to realize that if * has his way and repeals Posse Comitatus and the Insurrection Act, it could be THEM getting tortured. Nobody wants to face up to that. "Oh no, Bush would never do that," they say. "He's a Christian and so am I, and he wouldn't torture me." But they are dead wrong. In this wartime when * has declared that HE has the ultimate power to make war and to declare ANYONE he wants an "enemy combatant," inside the U.S. or out, American citizens ought to fight against his growing power as hard as we can.

You see, recently, a U.S. citizen was ALREADY declared an "enemy combatant" by * himself and detained without his rights - Jose Padilla.

Much as I hate to say it, we are ALREADY in a police state. *'s attempt to repeal Posse Comitatus and Insurrection Act would just make it official - AND permanent. Therefore to preserve the ounce of freedom we have left it would behoove us to call Congress at 1-877-762-8762 and urge Congressmen and Reps NOT to make ANY changes to current laws on the books that protect the freedoms of Americans, such as Posse Comitatus and the Insurrection Act.
