4. He'll help brother Jeb
to show the world that it takes a Bush to do things right in an emergency, all a part of the plan to make sure that a Bush stays in the WH in '08. The only reason I hope they do an adequate job is that it will keep regular people from suffering. But, knowing the Bush family, I doubt if they can pull it off successfully.

7. OK, I'll bite
One massive üb3rtraffic jam of d00m as people try to evacuate along I-75 and I-95.

After Katrina, I think (hope) that Floridians will take this one more seriously than they have in years past.

Morever, they (hopefully) remember what happened with Charlie. Going to the opposite coast or Orlando just doesn't cut it anymore.

So you have 10 million people all trying to flee to Georgia on two interstates and country backroads. I sincerely hope the storm doesn't catch them in the jam.

When I was in FL last spring, Tampa to Orlando on I-4 was a parking lot, and this was in "normal" conditions. My prediction is based largely on this experience; Floridians will be better equipped to make such predictions.

Expect Jebbie to order mando evacuations to look like he's doing something, but said evacuations will be almost exclusively by automobile because Rethuglikkkans simply don't care about those without cars. If you can't afford a car (or gas), you simply don't exist to them.

Expect Fema to write blank checks afterwards to Halliburton.

Oh, and those still in the FEMA trailers in Punta Gorda? Pwned. They're too poor for FEMA to care to evacuate them; otherwise they would have found other accomodations by now.:eyes:

8. how many deaths due to the new gun law?
people will be tense and feel threatened in general, so I see a mega disaster with people being shot just trying to survive.

9. I'm not even gonna touch that
I could throw out a number, but I'd be as wrong as the forecasters who were expecting a 90-100 kt Wilma today at this time yesterday.
