Call/Write the Media! NY Daily News now has PROOF of a Bush High Crime!

This just-released, barn-burner New York Daily News story--

--now quotes a "presidential counselor" as saying that President Bush rebuked Karl Rove TWO YEARS AGO for Rove's role in the Valerie Plame leak.

WTF??

Bush has since that time said that he wants to know who the leaker was, he doesn't know, he looks forward to finding out, he's given all the information to investigators that he can, he'll take action against the leaker as soon as he finds out who it is, etc. etc. etc....

HE LIED! Isn't this PROOF he lied? To the country? On an issue much, much bigger than getting a blowjob in the Oval Office?

What am I missing here, folks? Why is this not a major news story? Why is this not Congressional inquiry territory (even in a Republican Congress!)?

Isn't that called obstruction of justice? Isn't that a "high crime"? I wonder what he told the prosecutor in that interview when he wasn't under oath? If it wasn't under oath and wasn't before the Grand Jury, do you suppose it could be disclosed to the public? Or did he make a deal with the prosecutor before he gave the interview that his statements would be off the record and confidential? And, if so, why? Because he knew he was concealing the truth?

How in the world did Fitzgerald miss this?

Or DID he? Is this why it's taking so long to issue indictments?

Why isn't the media all over this story like the Watergate break-in--this is enormous!

On the other hand, I hope people will start discussing (either there or here) what can be done to make sure the media (e.g., Countdown & Olbermann) cover this story HARD tonight.
