For the first time, I enjoyed listening to Rush today.
I'm forever punishing myself by listening to him when I'm in my car at the right time. Other drivers must think I'm crazy with the way I shout at him.

Today, he was trying SO HARD to make Plamegate into nothing, with such desperation in his voice it was hilarious!

To paraphrase one gem: "If anyone is indicted, that doesn't mean they did anything wrong, but the liberal media is making everyone think so."

(Of course, even though nothing was found on Clinton but a BJ, he is still guilty of multiple affairs, killing people, conspiracy, illegal money laundering, etc."

I don't think there is any way even his densest ditto head would believe what was coming out of his mouth, because it was so simplistic that it was obvious that he was grasping at straws.

Hopefully we'll see his mug shot on the web before long.

6. OH, you forget, his ditto heads said this poor guy was suffering from
back problems, and that's why he was taking oxy drugs!

Naw, they'll believe him!

Hell, there's still some folks out there who think Nixon was a terrific President and was just unfairly picked on by the Press!

7. Don't give them too much credit.
They'll believe it, repeat it, and take it to heart.

11. Probably, because they can't stand being wrong. But...
he actually played an audio tape of someone explaining intelligently and in-depth why the * administration is in so much trouble. It was obvious the guy knew what he was talking about, no spin, but Rush tried to laugh it off "come on folks, how does HE know all that"?

Maybe because he's an expert?

That's entertainment!

9. Agree, I've been keeping an ear on RW talkers the past couple of days...
they are either ignoring ALL THE SCANDALS; Frist, Delay, Plame, or they are claiming it's no big deal. Can you just imagine the absolute thunderous cacophony of noise this would be if it was a Democratic President, Senator, Congressman? God, the hypocrisy.

14. All Savage is talking about these days are his dead dog,
his many degrees, and ranting about how insane liberals are (just ranting, with no foundation).

Liberalism is a mental disease!

My dog, the best dog ever, that I gave away to friends, died!

Did you know he has a gadzillion advanced degrees?

12. Hey, Watergate was treated as trivial for most of its investigation
Edited on Wed Oct-19-05 02:37 PM by Lexingtonian
'Third rate burglary' and 'no harm no foul' and 'technical illegalities by minor subordinates'- all that stuff.

And then the day came when Alexander Butterfield mentioned the taping. Boom- and the Nixon Administration went into a death spiral it tried its darndest to get out of, but couldn't.

In this stuff it's never actually the violation of the law per se that is the important thing. It's the way the crime epitomizes, exposes, the real morality and behavior and aims and character of the people in power. Their 'culture' and what it's really for/about.

13. 2 + 2 = 5
Really, it does. See, you take 2. Then you take 2 more. See? See how it equals 5? The libruls want you to believe it's 4! Can you believe that? Only smart conservobots know why they want you to think it is 4. Because they're power hungry, and they hate this country! And that plays into the hands of the terrorists, see?

16. That's because he's been spewing that there would be no indictments
Unless it was Wilson or Miller or Plame herself. It's pretty obvious that things are going to go very badly, so now he can wave them off and say, well, now a REAL jury will get to hear this flimsy case.
