I have been glued to DU for almost 48 hours straight. I have so much to do but I can't move. My legs have cramps in them. I have to go to the bathroom. Is this what victory is supposed to feel like?

Ahhhh! I'm actually at work & keep coming back to the DU site. It's like crack. I just found this place, so am busily learning about all the stuff I always suspected. :) This gets better after you've been here awhile... right?

I have been off from work a few days and instead of relaxing I keep being drawn back to my computer and DU.

I have waited SO long for these criminals in the white house to be taken down and I can see it coming. You can almost SMELL it in the air.

Every time I walk away from my pc I feel I might miss something.

One thing is certain....When it happens I won't hear about it watching the corporate news on television.

especially to DU. I'm serious, there really is such a thing as internet addiction. Most often it involves porn and/or gambling and other gaming, or chat rooms. I lost a job by being addicted at work to DU ... lots of people were violating the official internet policy there, but I got tattled on.

BE very very careful about indulging your addiction ...

I don't know if there is a cure or not, sorry.

in my neck and buttocks from computer strain! It was the same this time last year, when I first got hooked on DU, and I was directed to the site for post election debate ratings, and I stayed on through the election, and the post election fiasco, and have been here ever since.

back to the time of hanging chads, we counted and counted, the ryder rental truck slow journey up to Tallahassee, the trials, the protests, the waiting on the steps of the supreme court, biting your nails, praying that someone, anyone, would wake us up from this slow torturous nightmare, and restore this country to sanity. LOOK, coming out the court house doors and ......

This can't be real? WTF? Is anyone in D.C. not on the payroll? We knew then, as we know now.
The octopus tentacles stretch to every courthouse and every lawyer knows this. No matter how great your case is, and it can be airtight, it is the judge who decides, ultimately. I wish there were a website that listed every case......

I don't watch paid sports events for the same reason.
On a very rare occasion, you'll walk away satisfied, even if your team lost, that it was fair fight.
