Edited on Wed Oct-19-05 02:39 PM by Cyrano
Anyone who has been paying attention knows that Dick Cheney has really been the president. If he's forced to resign because of the Plame leak, that will leave Junior in charge.

Let's face reality. When we're talking about George W. Bush, we're talking about a person with the intellectual capacity, common sense and street smarts of Fredo Corleone.

And if Rove also resigns, who's going to be pulling the strings? Not that Cheney and Rove are decent human beings. But I do believe that both have enough sense to not push the "nuclear button."

Left to his own devices and delusions, what will George/Fredo do? Beats me. But it scares the hell out of me.

4. Chauncey Gardiner was a benevolent moron.
Would you apply the term benevolent to Bush?

8. No, but the moran part I agree with. I just think without Cheney's
influence he would be clueless like CG.

6. You think Bush would go fishing on Lake Tahoe with a Cheney aide?

9. I hate to be cruel, but George/Fredo would have
left the canoles and taken the gun, finished his wine at Louie's restaurant, and gone to Brooklyn with Tessio.

(With apologies to those not familiar with "The Godfather.")
