On Hardball ... Matthews is so excited.

He keeps talking about something BIG getting ready to be revealed.

I've been one to be disgusted by Tweety ... but frankly, it is kind of gratifying to see him almost giddy about the possibility of Bush going down, down, down.

Hey, I'm loving this.

According to Tony DeFrank on the show, it looks like the Daily News may have another big story coming out tonight.

You're right about the clinical Clinton hating, fer sure, and I hate him for that.

But he's been on the VP's case over Plame for over two years. And he's been against the war in Iraq and now the two are coming together in a big boom.

to distract from the fact that he knew for TWO YEARS that Rove outed and Plame and chose to NOT TELL his audiences filled with voters.

Instead he allowed GOP lawmakers and political operatives to smear Joe Wilson as a partisan campaign hack for Kerry who was trying to bring down Bush with his lies.

Tweety probably thought Bush would escape this type of probe and he would be in the clear for not covering the story more or sharing what he certainly already knew.

This is PURE CoverMyOwnAss for Tweety time.

11. Since Tweety has been spinning for the Bush/Rove faction
against the Cheney/Libby faction for the past 5 or 6 days I don't think he is excited about Bush going down. He is excited about Cheney going down.

In other words, at the llth hour when Andy Card began to orchestrate a distancing plan between the Pres and the V-P he used Tweety and Fineman very successfully as a part of that spin. Right now Tweety is feeling the juice of his own importance in being on the inside and helping the administration f-over the American public once again.

Honestly of all the pundits he's at the bottom of my hate list, every now and then I shake my fist at him, other times I can't help but grin throughout a viewing of his show.

If I met him in person I'd actually show some respect but I would chide him for the crap he spewed about Clinton and Gore in the past and recently Kerry.
