Is naming all these informants as soon as possible helping "Fitz"
Meaning that

A ) Fitz is already getting information
B ) More informants are probably LESS likely to assist with the case
C ) Existing and named informants could be less likely to cooperate any further
D ) Existing informants are more likely to get threatened

I think it's foolish to be so excited about these names that are being dropped. Sure, they are certainly big names, and it's neat to see the connections fall into place. But Fitzgerald is getting the information he wants regardless of what we know/think, and I can't see any benefit of announcing that people have turned this far before any indictments. Plastering these names as soon as possible does nothing to help the end-result.

Am I the only one who feels this way? I'm not saying we shouldn't find out who these people are, but perhaps a little self-restraint on behalf of the blogger world might just help our cause that much more

1. He has been able to keep things from leaking for so long that
it is surprising so much is being licked now. Those leacking all these must know that it's safe to do so. I can't believe that the info being leacked would help anyone that is involved, so seems to me that those doing these might know something we don't..

2. Hannah turned right after he took over the case.
He had the info from them for a long time and compared it to subsequent testimonies from other people. I wouldn't worry about it now.

4. One must consider the possibility that these disclosures are
tactical moves by Fitzgerald, a "your partner is in the next room spilling his guts" type of thing. Not saying this is the case, just that it could be. It also could be defense counsel fishing for an offer of a plea bargain "if my client were to give you a, b and c, how would that affect his situation?"

6. Quite possibly, or perhaps they are all just starting to go insane
and accuse each other, which is fine with me.

10. Ding, ding, ding! Divide and conquer.
He's got the goods. Leak just a bit right before the finish line and see who else might jump. And from the sounds of it - people are definitely getting jumpy.

I still believe Matalin and Fleisher have both flipped as well. Young families. Too much to lose.

7. The leaks
have almost all come from defense attorneys. I think it is safe to say that none of them are representing the person(s) who is reported to have decided that cooperating with Fitzgerald was his best bet. Thus, it is possible that these defense attorneys have clients who are potentially harmed by the cooperating witness. Your concerns are indeed justified.

We know what the administration is willing to do to destroy a person who challenged their lies in the public arena. In a short time, we will get an idea of how far they will go to destroy a witness who threatens to expose their evil-doing in a federal court.
