Flu shots for whole population plan in UK...with shrub we get

Flu jab for whole population plan

Plans to purchase enough vaccine to cover every person in the UK in the event of a flu pandemic have been announced by the Department of Health. Chief Medical Officer Sir Liam Donaldson said 120 million doses would be needed - two for everyone.

The government is inviting manufacturers to tender for a contract to supply the pandemic flu vaccine.

Capacity for two doses per person have been ordered because research so far shows two doses are needed to protect people against H5N1 - the type of virus most likely to mutate into a pandemic strain.

Sir Liam said that offering these "sleeping contracts" now should mean manufacturers can develop enough capacity to make a vaccine.

Sir Liam said: "We cannot prevent a flu pandemic, but we can reduce its impact."

Newt Gingrich said "Socialized Medicine" is evil. That was part of his "Contract On America."

2. GOP goons in the House will pass a bill

adding a supplement to Medicare. For an additional premium of $15.00 a month (deducted from your social security check of course)you will be able to receive a free flu shot once a year if, IF there is a pandemic declared by the President(if no pandemic announced you've lost your money). Then the surgeon general will declare that black people are immune from bird flu and therefore they dont need and will not get the shot (this is after they have signed up for the SSA program of course).
Sounds like a bill Bush would sign in a heartbeat.
