The time is now

the time of decision is upon us.

It is high time for all of you to decide where you stand and what you will sacrifice

Some of you are familair with these words:

This is the one I once took, and there are many variations to it

Notice the words: I will suport and defend the Constitution and Laws of the United tates of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic;

We know the moment is now

Some of you have taken a varaition of this... to join the Armed Forces...

We all know what these words mean

The moment is now... the moment is now

Do we have in us what will be required?

Will we go the distance?

This is the time....

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

Will we do what is needed? Will we sacrifice what is needed? Are we willing to give the full measure of our beings? Are we willing to give up our lives? We are at one of those historic crossroads when this may yet be required?

It is this serious folks... it is this serious.

The Bush dynasty will not go down easily.

But the days ahead are likely to center on much more narrow legal matters. And on simply-understood public morality plays, like FEMA's unpreparedness, the unfairness of tax cuts in a deficit, Tom Delay/Howard Abramoff crookery and the wrongness of revealing the identity of an attractive counterterrorism agent.

Stick to the talking points in public. Consult your tin-foil player's guide in private.
