9. Look at the cheekbones and the coloring
and compare it to the one on TSG.

As someone who does digital imaging for a living, it's pretty clear to me this is a fake.

Not too shabby an attempt, given that the original just came out today...

but still...

I'm impressed, and went to the root web site hosting the image. It's an artist's site.

I did it in about ten minutes. A Google pulled up the face shot of DeLay. The plate is actually -- ironically enough -- from a mug shot of Bill Gates. I obviously changed the type to "Harris County." I had to add plenty of grain to mask the Photoshopping, but hey...it's what Tom feared most, right? Please, everyone...copy it to your hd, and spread it around the web. Let Snopes with the authenticity questions. Just don't use up all my bandwidth!
