We need to compile some quotes of Rush deriding drug addicts....

Anyone have any leads?

For the record, I don't plan to say anything negative about Rush that he hasn't already said about others. I urge everyone here to do the same.

I hope he gets better, but no free rides...

He's was still trying to put himself above all the "celebrities and athletes" that have been through the same situation...

My prediction: All RW commentators will be saying in chorus:

"LOOK AT ALL THE LIBERAL HYPOCRITES TAKING PLEASURE IN THE ADDICTION OF RUSH LIMBAUGH. HOW SHAMELESS!!!!"

6. Are Other RW Media Types Addicted to What they Profess to Abhor?

Rush was spouting hate against those paralyzed by drug addiction when he himself was paralyzed by it --

I can't help but wonder if there is a broader point here. Other RW media types are obsessed with sex or abortion etc - does their obsession suggest they are (like Rush) personally paralyzed by the very thing they profess to abhor?

7. This may or may not be helpful but

About one and a half or two years ago, RL was having some dental work done and was prescribed Vicodin (He related this story on his show btw) and went on to tell his listeners that he could not understand what the attraction was to these kinds of drugs as they made him really loopy. (I'm paraphrasing here because I don't have the exact quote) I dont have it on tape or anything but if anyone has transcripts of his shows from that time period it's in there.

Rush is a big fat hypocrite
