The next time you face an onslaught of right wing talking points
We now have a quick comeback that can stop them dead in their tracks:

"What, did you get that from some stoned radio talk show host?"

The right needs to face the fact, it has been taking marching orders from a stoned out of his gourd loser.

10. No kidding. I actually can respect true conservatives.
And true conservatives hate Bush's guts.

8. That's never worked in the past
They never get past the first sentence of the refutation. This way they stand there with a dumb look on their face.

11. That is a good one.
I find it is easier to debate religious conservatives rather than constitutional conservatives because they always bring up the Federalist Papers. I'm not a lawyer and have not desire to study law.

12. Constitutional conservatives are easy to debate too.
Just find yourself a searchable version of the Federalist Papers. 90% of the quotes they grab from the FP's can be refuted by something else in the FP's.

Remember that the Founding Fathers were not conservatives in any way, shape or form. They were RADICALS. They were people who believed in the preposterous notion that they could govern themselves.

Conservatives in 1790 wanted a king, that is, the conservatives that didn't move to Canada or back to England after the war.

14. No, here's the only line you need.
"The difference between you and me is you trust our government. I don't. History has shown that when people stop fighting for freedom and simply trust dictatorships, bad things happen."

This sort of message makes them feel a bit naive...which Freepers hate. Just talk about how you want to preserve the Constitution...how a lot of guys smarter than us did a damn good job with that document...and anybody who isn't upholding the Constitution is the enemy. This plays into their respect for power and authority.
