MEMO: Appointment of Post-G.W. Bush Transition Administration

Dear Mr. President:

This is to notify you that it is the unanimous decision of the Joint Chiefs to appoint you to head up the selection committee to identify suitable candidates for the National Transitional Administration that is scheduled to assume the powers normally assigned to the POTUS and the OVP.

As agreed, those offices will be vacated by resignation of the incumbents no later than December 31, 2005.

Should the incumbents fail to live up to their departure agreements, this transition agreement will be void, and other arrangements for succession will be made by this body.

Please sign and return the attached contact by secure courier no later than EOBD, June 5th.

That is, if the memo is authentic. I hope it's a fake, and I believe it is, but if it's true, I doubt the Founders of the US would be happy to know their little experiment in representative democracy died in a blaze of greed that finally led to a military dictatorship.

While it might give Pappi a chance to unravel some of the tremendous harm his son has done to Pappi's legacy, I doubt anyone at the Pentagon would seriously chose Pappi to reverse this ship of state's course.

Worked for them when they ran the search commitees for VP & USSC Nom.'s, respectively.
