I love how he says "we" when he clearly means "I" - i hate having other people speak for me, especially when its in the subject of religion. As an atheist, i feel particularly offended by this comment.

The way I heard it is that Jesus Christ was God's gift to the world. Jesus, and the gift of grace. But the gift of freedom is never mentioned.

The Bible only mentions freedom twice:
