Current TV just showed the New Orleans police beating of the 64 yr old man
The whole thing, unedited, beginning to end.

I became even angrier when I saw this one fat cop threaten the camera man. Then the cop turned his back. If I had been that camera man, I'd have taken the camera and bashed it over the cop's head.

New Orleans cops are losers, looters and quitters.

1. I saw some guy on a news show going on about the man...
who was beaten being on TV and contradicting prior statements that he didn't drink, etc.

All that aside, I didn't see any resisting, or conduct that necessitated that beating. The guy was just standing there. :(

3. My next door neighbor is a defense attorney (a very conservative guy)
and one of my family's closest friends. It's fund arguing politics with him because he isn't a frothing freeper, just a libertarian.

Anyway, whenever I read about things like this, I think of the gang sign I learned from one of his clients once. Two fingers to the chest, one to the head.

I have more respect for mob hitmen than cops. . .All cops. I don't care if they are good cops. . .you all hide behind the Blue Code of Silence and will not turn in one of your boys ever. IA is a joke and cops are legalized hitmen, thugs and bullies.

Don't argue with me on this. . .you can say nothing to convince me I am wrong.

5. It's almost unbearable to witness. I'm so glad he wasn't injured far worse
It was sad seeing the woman taking such a risk to herself, coming forward to try to reason with them, only for the mounted cop to use his horse to shove her out of camera range and off on down the street.

She knew he was being abused and tried to help. I hope the man knows by now that onlookers were with him in spirit.

Shameful display of vicious bullying by men far too old to act that way. No sense of honor whatsoever.

7. A California Red Cross volunteer
was on Andersoon Cooper the other night. She and her friends left NOLA after that beating but has come forward as a witness. She said she had to speak.

9. Good news, indeed. The more light on this, the better.
It shouldn't just be swept under the carpet. I'm glad the victem knows people care about what happened to him.
