Rush is not running for anything.
Stop giving him so much time on DU folks.

The headlines in DU should be the downfall of republican mass brainwashing..or the fact that racism is not tolerated by ESPN...or a number of other headlines about Arnold saying he refuses to talk about his "rowdiness" because it is old news.

Cover "this" not rush.

3. Rush IS part of the "republican mass brainwashing!"
For years, he has held himself up an interpreter of morality and "proper" conservative belief.

Like Bill Bennett's gambling admission, this is significant news. These wealthy white men have been presenting themselves as something superior to their fellow human beings, and have cast judgement and shown no mercy for a broad number of suffering individuals and classes.

Hypocracy unmasked should always be newsworthy.

4. In 1992 my younger brother began listening to and LIKING Rush
he eventually cooled off of him but the fact is my brother was in his 20's and IMPRESSIONABLE.
Do not underestimate the insidious influence of a Rush Limbaugh. My brother was hearing things that appealed to him and challeneged the status quo and so he found it intriguing.
Rush and his ilk are a HUGE part of the problem, OKA "the vast right wing media machine."

11. Hey we could talk about Coulter or Hannity or O'really or any of 'em
they all suck and they are all dangerous and they are what turn people against liberals. I guarantee you the sheeple spend more time listening to any one of these pigs then Bush or Cheney or anyone else in office. These media mouths are for most of them their only window on the world and it shapes their feeble little minds.

They are our worst enemy.

16. Rush is the most influential right-winger in America...
It would be foolish to ignore him for some story like Arnold. Du'ers should celebrate his demise, however temporary, because it is a blow to the fascism that has swept this country. This story is not getting too much coverage.
