Why do they hate America?

I'd say it's because there's so much here that is neither a ghetto nor a yuppie enclave. They would like to live in Brazil, or some other country with really intense stratification.

just any American who is not white, rich, male, conservative and a hypocritical "Christian in name only", a hater of women, minorities, homosexuals or any other culture. If you fall in to this category- you are golden.

When their opinion (despite it being based on nonfactual "evidence") held the majority of this country, we got bashed for "hating America."

Well, now that the majority of Americans agree with us (as every poll has been showing recently) we should be completely free to ask them the same damn thing.

If a minority opinion is all it takes to "hate America," then Freeper Trolls, I ask you:

"Why do you hate America?"

And EVERYTHING it stands for

that onto others.

This is the price all of us pay for living wrong: working too many hours for $ instead of for fulfillment; unceasing competition; stifling beauty; alienation from nature; artificial food; not enough exercise; phony spirituality; too many powerful unwritten social rules . . . .

It's the same story going back to ancient Rome. Choose a fundamental difference among the masses, be it the color of their skin, or their sexuality, or their spirituality, and make that difference seem somehow unclean, or impure.

Then keep repeating it over and over until the masses think that small difference it is actually the truth. That way you can keep the people arguing among themselves, and comfortably distracted while you dig DEEP into the treasury to keep your own wealth secure. It's a very simple principle, but has worked for thousands of years.

That's why, if you notice, there are always two types of conservatives. Those that have everything, and do whatever they can to keep it that way, and those that have nothing, and blame liberals and minorities for it.

My guess is that Republicans hate Americans, because they are not Americans--or they do not want to be Americans. It is probably based in the historical founding of our great country.

Most of the Republicans back then probably wanted the British to rule, because, it was good for the economic bargain, that a British US would bring them.

Your question gets right to the root of the problems--that have been plaguing this country for at least the last 50 years, which is the militarization of our culture, which was at one time based upon American values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Republicans could not deal with living in the country with those values, so they decided to corrupt the system, to then change the system. Nevertheless, they will fail. America is not a flag; it is not, a corporate entity, which has the right to exploit, the values that made our country great.

In short, Republicans hate Americans because they do not know what being an American is. Frankly, they have more loyalty to the Bin Laden family and the Saudis then they do to Americans.
