Listening to all the caller on Cspan WJ

My brains totally gave out.
I think America is a very very sick country.
Sad that they dont realise that this road they walking can only end in tradegy.

I swear there is a direct line from Mehlmann's office into the C-SPAN control room as you can be assured every Repugnican talking point that Rushbo will lie about later is being astroturffed right now.

Yesterday a couple of us caught the lie of perjury being a "technicality" being thrown out there...and sure enough it was topic #1 on Rushbo and almost made it into the evening food fights (they did on Faux) except for their coverage of Hurricane Wilma.

While I've heard some good Democratic callers, they sure sound like the minority on this show now. If you had no knowledge in this case and just gauged on the phones, news articles and type of guests brought on this show, you'd also think this regime is being "vicimized by an overzealous prosecutor". Get ready for that meme...it's coming...

I was going to post that I can't watch their Washington Journal in the morning anymore. How can these callers all be paid by the Repug party. They have different accents and call from different states.

Does C-Span only alow folks who are very mentally disturbed to phone in?
I've never tried to call C-Span but it seems clear in the past few years that the more illiterate, angry or raving one is, the easier it is to get through. It ruins my day to start it off listening to such ill informed folks rant on about Bush as if he's a saint.

They used to have a policy of having folks stick to the issue of whatever newspaper article the host was reading. But, it seems under Bush all the old rules have been thrown out. Remember when they used tell callers not to call more than once in 30 days? I could swear I hear the same people over and over.

I've watched it less and less and after this morning, I'm just giving it up.

He let some rabid right wing callers continue lengthy and disjointed rants against the Dems and smearing the Clintons. However he quickly cut off a very calm and rational Dem who pointed out the lack of attention to the nature of Valerie Plame's CIA work and possibility that Cheney and White House may have wanted to end her investigations, not just as revenge against Joe.
