Rush confession hurts his criminal case

Now that he has admitted addiction, he will almost certainly be found guilty if tried. Not that Florida tries Republicans who are admittedly guilty of felonies. Republicans get a free pass at committing felonies under the Jeb Bush administration, as well as the Junta in Washington. Apparently Rush will never see the inside of a courtroom, not that he would do jail time for a first conviction. Nonetheless, equal treatment under the law, the prosecution he demanded of others less fortunate, demands it.

Republicans can loot companies and pension funds -- no prosecutions. Republicans trade drugs in large amounts -- no prosecutions. Republicans launch wars of conquest based on lies to Congress -- no prosecutions. Republican candidates can be serial sexual assaulters -- no adverse press. Republicans betray the deepest cover CIA agents -- no prosecutions. Republicans fail to protect Manhattan -- no prosecutions, no real investigation. Republicans fail to protect against Anthrax -- no prosecutions, failed investigation. Republicans promise to eliminate Osama bin Ladin and Saddam Hussein -- no adverse consequences. Republicans alienate our best allies -- no consequences. Republicans bankrupt the treasury -- no consequences. Republicans run up largest deficits in American history -- no unfriendly mainstream press. Republicans destroy American economy -- no unfriendly mainstream press. Republicans destroy a million American jobs a year that aren't coming back -- no adverse consequences.

That 2nd paragraph of your rant hit it right on the head. Great way oof summarizing the entire FUBAR this fraudministration has bestowed upon us. That needs to be used in some ad...on TV..On Flyers.....Somewhere!!

I've never seen a state in the nation as corrupt as Florida. They take after the poor with a vengeance. Florida shows it has no concern for kids needing protection and services. None, child after child is missing or turns up dead. This is the Bush legacy. Jeb promised he'd clean it up. Bull. He's starved their funding even more with a smile from George W. But Nicole and Rush are given free passes.

and if there is any outcry whatsoever from 'the people,' no problem, the US Senate will get on the stick and get serious about these terrible drugs that are ruining people's lives and force the FDA to put more protections so those dang drugs aren't on the street tempting poor little souls to abuse.
