Who is Mr. X?

Sources say that Rove and Libby were told Plame's identity by someone higher up.

Let's go over the clues.

1. It's a Mr. X, so that leaves Pickles, Condi, and Karen Hughes out. :D

2. If Mr. X told the Knuckleheads (Rove and Libby) about Plame's Identity, that leaves just about every Liberal in the Universe out. (This will squash your hopes, eh Freepers?)

3. Remember 1? This means that Valerie Plame did not out herself.

4. The Knuckleheads were acting in a subordinate manner. They were acting as middlemen for someone who is at a higher status level in the WH than them.

5. Both Rove and Libby were part of the WHIG.

6. This is about Iraq.

7. Looking at previous clues, it's someone in the Executive Branch.

Fitzmas may be tomorrow, let's wait and see.

Anyway, Mr. X was George Kennan, author of the Long Telegram, that framed Cold War policy vis a vis the Soviets.

You would think Rove/Libby would rat out someone lower or same level to stay out of jail.
