Well now we finally know the truth behind Rush Limbaugh.

He said all of those things against Democrats that were wrong because HE IS ON DRUGS ! I knew there was a reason he lied out the ass about us. He was STONED !

The repukes will rally around their big, fat idiot... Two months down the road he will make a "triumphant" return stating how easy it was to "let go" of the addiction with "faith" and some other reich-wing bs...and the issue will be forgotten.

11. His dittoheads will not forgive him he blames it on drugs...

They really want him to mean the things he says...that's why he appeals to them. They will be more heartbroken if says that he didn't mean all those ugly things he said and blames it on drugs.

I couldn't put my finger on it but I knew there was something very weird going on there. He would maintain that fever pitch hour after hour - I wonder if they affect the body like uppers.

I have heard that people say Rush is a hypocrite about buying oxycontin but I don't really understand what makes him a hypocrite. The man is obviously ill.

17. By allegedly buying black market oxy, he supported the illegal drug trade.

It doesn't matter what Rush claimed supporting terrorism.

Oxycontin is Sched II, like cocaine. Buying it without a presciption is illegal.

If he offered big bucks to his "housekeeper" to procure illegal drugs, he has contributed to her illegal behavior.

If he paid another person to get these black market drugs, he was paying them to perform a felony.

His addiction is a side issue to his alleged illegal behavior.

Get it?

which makes most of thier profits from seling addictive painkillers and maintainence drugs for diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and so on.

The drug industry, with thier high prices, and willingness to see thier drugs go on the black market, makes the Cali drug cartel look like the Mickey Mouse club.

If there is a just god, there is no sympathy for Rush Limbaugh. For someone like Bush to call him a "great American hero" draws an unbridgeable dividing line. Two separate universes of right and wrong. But it's not about him. What about all those hate-filled, mean-hearted dittoheads who, in the secret and safety of their automobile or home, cheered on their junkie guru. They were all conned and deluded by that fat-head asshole into believing their worse fantasies and instincts were not only acceptable but virtuous. I rest better at night knowing that Limbaugh brought upon himself what's been coming to him for a long time.

19. As a recovering addict, I am trying to have compassion for Rush.

I know and regret the terrible things I did when I was an active addict. I am also trying not to take his inventory for him.

That said, however: if Rush's behavior - and not merely his drug use - does not change after treatment, then I will say "so long" and "good riddance." I have no intention of contributing to his abusive behavior through codependence. He does have a lot of amends to make, but if he tries to make his recovery another slogan for the right, I'll know he is not in recovery, but is simply abstaining - and he will be back on the drugs in no time flat.
