Media keeps saying Plame was outed because JW "criticized"
the Bush's case for war. This is what they ALWAYS say on NPR. What you are hearing?/seeing?

Why don't they say she was outed because JW exposed lies in Bush's case for war?

There simply is no doubt about how completely most media support Bush, no matter what.

1. I stopped listening to NPR
a while back. Just like the corp. media as far as I am concerned.

Now I listen to Air America and JOnes network: Stephanie Miller, Al Franken, Ed Schultz and Randi Rhodes. Or I listen to a classical music station.

2. I listen to AAR too.
I was just tuning back into the "rest of the world" for a little while.

I don't watch much TV, but I expect their descriptions of the story are just as warped.

5. Do you have an Air America radio station?
Thank god we have one in New Haven! It is so great. You can go on Al Franken's website or Stephanie Miller's website (not AAR) and get your local station (or not; they are not everywhere, unfortunately}.

I am an addict! I love the shows because I do have some time in the mornings on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays when I work out in the gym with my little radio with earphones. I also listen at home when I have time.

3. The interview they did with Isikoff was a joke.
The interviewer provided a timeline that omitted the rather essential detail that the CIA had already rejected the niger claims, that The Cabal had then gone out and cobbled up a new claim based on exactly the same fraudulent data but 'from British Intelligence' so as to not be precisely the claim already rejected by the CIA, and used this as the basis for the 16 words in the SOTU. In other words: they deliberately, knowingly, intentionally, with malice aforethought lied and deceived Congress and the American people.

They left that out. Isikoff neglected to correct them.

Ah here it is: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4975883

Bob Siegal 'interviews' Michael Isikoff - From Niger to Grand Jury: A Plame Case Timeline. And you can skip right here to the carefully edited timeline: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4764919

NPR? integrity? gone missing.

4. NPR had some PhD goon on yesterday who kept claiming Plame was not
covert. People kept calling in trying to chastise him for saying it, yet he stuck to this point!

He also was clueless in other basic facts about the investigation. It was a sad hour for NPR.
