Pombo is at it again

www.wilderness-sportsman.com

Well, Pombo always has a new trick up his sleeve. This time? how about forcefully selling off National Parks, National Monuments, Wilderness Areas, National Wildlife Refuges, and the National Landscape Conservation System?

That's right. In the House latest budget bill,Pombo has inserted a provision that forces selling off of all of those lands if the acreage contains mineral deposits. This is no joke.

CALL YOUR CONGRESSMEN NOW. And tell them to not support Pombo's RECKLESS provision that will destroy the outdoor heritage of this nation.

The provision is contained in Section 6204 of the bill.

This is no joke, folks. These are our great public lands. This provision would allow the selloff of all PUBLIC LANDS to foreign and U.S. corporate interests with no burden of proof at all. this was brought to you by Richard Pombo, anti-conservation extremist. The same ellow who tried to sell of national parks another way. The same guy who gutted the ESA. The same guy who wrote the "mercury is AOK for pregnant woman report". The guy is a sham, and probably the most ani-conservation goon in congress.
