LA TIMES: WH Plans to DISTANCE and CHANGE THE SUBJECT-will it work AGAIN?
http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-assess27oct27,0,1051268.story?coll=la-home-headlines

We're not in the 1970s...White House SPIN will be ALL OVER the newscasts about indictments.

The Democrats FINALLY need to have the correct strategy on this one. WE need to put out ALL the connections between ROVE and Bush, LIBBY and Cheney, the Iraq Group - we've got to email our friends and relatives, talk the facts and make sure people realize how CLOSE this is to their President.

Let's HOPE and PRAY that we are as prepared as the White House on this. This White House plays dirty and won't go down without a MAJOR fight.

1. No, it won't work.
After Katrina, Bush will NEVER get the benefit of the doubt again. Not ever. Spin will be useless.

2. We can't just SIT BACK and assume IMO
voted for this guy less than a year ago.

After EVERYTHING that was done by this cabal from 2001-2004, 50 MILLION people still voted for this guy.

We NEED to push the facts on this or it will be November 2004 all over again.

We need to push how IMPORTANT Rove is to Bush, how close they are.

We can't count on the Corporate Media to honestly report this story - report on the WHIG, to make the connections that have already been made in DU circles.

Time to STEP UP the pressure, not sit back.

Time to bring together ALL the research done here and fax blast it to EVERY media outlet imaginable.

Break out those bookmarked threads folks!

3. Oh, man!
I smell the bacon-y stench of effort all over that plan! Ah, well. Off to the bookmarks, I guess.

5. Uh huh.
I can see it now...

Bush: Skeeter who?
Cheney: I didn't really know the man that well, and... you know, these things happen.

6. They will look delusional and totally out of touch with reality instead
Bush and Cheney can no longer ignore the seriousness of this situation, while pretending that their fabricated war on terror is more important.
