Just want to thank everyone who's breaking the tension around here...
and the mods for letting us have fun with some threads in GD: Stephanie's breathless reports on Fitz's every movement, with pics, and accompanying Prose-cutie discussion; the Breaking News on Fitz's shoeshine; the clever pokes at Rove, Libby, and several Bushes; and many other HUGH!!!111 and Series developments.

God knows we've gone through some tough times together. Let's hope this time we get some good news.

9. I was gone for four long hours today
I did a painting project at my boys' school I ran in the door and asked the cats if it was Fitzmas yet! :crazy:

I enjoyed logging on and seeing the threads you mentioned as well.

I had high hopes but it dropped like a rock.

The idea was to use some verse from a song to describe your thoughts about the Miers situation.

Mine was Streisand and Neil Diamond as Harriet and George sing

I spent the last three days in Orlando without computer hookup at the hotel, so it was a bit frustrating, except for a few words here and there on CNN (the only news network they carried). Driving back to the Keys, I couldn't get AAR until almost Miami, but the devastation along the roads was definitely a distraction. But now that I'm home, I'm hanging up the fitzmas stockings and putting out the cookies and milk and waiting for the fat man in the baggy suit to...resign!!!
