1. Don't be too upset when you find you got a lump of coal.

Reality is likely to fall far short of indictments for all those involved in the Plame Game.

2. Now, now...
It's the thought that counts!!! Fitzmas is about giving, not receiving!

Uh...yes, that's right! :evilfrown:

3. Seriously, kiddies, please gloat responsibly.
I kinda overdid it the last couple of days and I feel like crap right now.

I'll give Fitzy one thing, though: the enthusiasm I have felt over what may be coming has reinvograted my, er, zest for life. Let's just say my brain is a LOT happier than it has been in MONTHS at the moment. MONTHS, people. It's true what they say about the brain needing a certain kind of endorphin to survive. It does.

5. Aye... I am trying to keep perspective...
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 12:29 AM by Leopolds Ghost
Kids, remember, daddy - er - St. Fitz - didn't make much money this year, he's out of office, but let's see if St. Fitz might just bring us one small present now, plus a BIG one later! Wouldn't that be wonderful?

8. It's not gloating. It's hoping for justice, that's all.
All we want is a sense that we were not deluded or crazy in seeing that this march to the Iraq War was not justified.

12. Well, if that's where your perspective is, good. You won't go nutty.
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 01:10 AM by BlueIris
I confess, the nutty was in response to the gratification I feel that SOME justice IS being done in this cold world. I just got a little carried away. It was fun for a while (ah, endorphins) but you really don't want the hangover/injuries I have. Reign it in, is all I'm saying.

good night! O8)

Hope your traditional Fried Fitz Dinner (a large and rather sharp

11. My fear is that
it will be a very bad Halloween prank. Trick or treat. And we will have been tricked.

I want to be optimistic but so amny times I have been let down that I dread to hope too much.

Merry Fitzmas.
Happy Halloween.

May we be greeted with treats not tricks. :scared:

13. The spirit of Fitzmas should last all year long...

Remember kids, the bad criminals who are running our country aren't just guilty of simple crimes like perjury or disclosing an agent's identity. There are larger issues at stake such as treason: lying to Congress and the American people about the reasons we should go to war, sacrificing lives out of pure greed, collaborating with our enemies, and selling our country short, not to mention the latest reports that the last election really was corrupted. We should be thankful that our judicial system is as strong as it is, and that we have some ability to deal with tyrants, whereas in some other countries kids aren't quite as lucky. Sweat dreams!

with the circles closing all 'round about him?

ObFitzmas: "Dance Men! The Sword Dance Now For Me!"

THE KING AND THE FOOL -- Washington, DC 2005
A compilation of several medieval mummers' plays celebrating fertility, death, and rebirth. The sword dance and ritual execution survive from a time when the death of the hero, also known as the "Sun King" was considered necessary to assure fertility and the return of light and warmth. The sword dance performed by the Foggy Bottom Morris Men.
