Rove still under investigation is not bad news...
Fitz would not extend investigations because he believes Rove did nothing. It could actually mean that a larger group at the WH will be exposed. Plus, Cheney's second in command being indicted is fairly serious as well.

1. Yes, it means the pressure is still on.
Let them sweat a while longer and then BAM! Indict a bunch of them!

carefulness and intelligence at work.

5. If Novak named Rove as his source, how could Rove *not* be indicted?

19. The naming of a noc is tightly worded, but leaking of classified
information is a different statute and not as narrow....isn't it? Ignorance of the law is no defense.

6. I don't think some people realize how good of news it is........
As long as the investigation is open, there is a chance this could still go all the way to the top!!

9. A chance, a chance, a chance...
After five years of corruption, cronyism and crime, the best we can get is a Libby indictment? NO, it's not enough. It's pure bullshit.

what's going on, and I like what I see. Fitz has been into the Niger documents, and that part of the story is starting to warm up. On top of that it looks like Cheney withheld info from congress, which is a really big deal. Put your chin up, this isn't over yet.

7. You'll forgive me if I'm not optimistic.
Rove is slippery. The bastard will cut a deal and slither out like the snake he is.

8. Or Rove's made a deal
to throw Libby, Cheney under the bus and in return he doesn't get charged. Thus, Bush just smirks and reminds everyone that Rove didn't commit a crime so he can stay on the job.

I wouldn't put it past him, that sneaky bastid.

14. If they nail Cheney, I have a feeling people here will forget about Rove
That would be most excellent.

20. What sort of deal could Rove have made? It couldn't have been a deal
with Fitzgerald, could it?

11. As impatient as I am, you are correct.
The more they investigate the more they will find and the more likely the truth about bush & his cabal will come out.
