An indictment is not a conviction.
An indictment is not a conviction. Will indicted staff continue employment at White House?

Bush changed "If anyone leaked information..." to "If anyone committed a crime..."

How long has it taken Ken Lay to see a courtroom?

Could Libby's trial for the Fitzmas indictment be postponed for three years? Could this White House retain Rove in his current position after he is indicted and until he is convicted?

Can Bush pardon Libby?

Can Bush pardon Libby if Bush is named as an unindicted co-conspirator?

The above questions apply to the other people indicted also.

Remember the Neo-Con opinion is that the leak is not a crime.

1. It might as well be a conviction in political terms.

7. The fact that you can get a Republican to be indicted is a conviction.
For a "law and order" group that continually yammers about loophole and how terrible the legal eagles are letting off "criminals," they sure like to exploit loopholes and the legal eagles when they are caught.

8. An Honorable President
would have cleaned house yesterday.

But the truth is .. the Chimp IS a crook
and he runs his White House like a criminal
organization.. staffed with the worst of
the worst in society. Men of no honor,
character or charity. Liars, Schemers,
War Profiteers. Low-life chickenhawks
who send our nation's children off to die
in their misguided ideological wars.
Men who hide behind the cross and
misrepresent universal goodness with
their own hateful spittle.

I pray with all my heart that Bush and his
gang of crooks and cronies get everything
that's coming to them. Twice.

11. At the very least..
It'll show the world what a viper's nest today's WH is. The lies, the counter-lies, the double-dealing, the sheer viciousness and lack of scruples.

And it'll be an end to all the wingnut lies like "Plame wasn't covert" and "Wilson is the guilty one".

12. If you were charged with a felony, would your boss keep you on?
True--indictment is not conviction in the ordinary world.

But in the political world, IMO, an indictment is still a pretty bad body blow to one's career.

BTW, if/when any indictments are handed up, expect the wingnuts to begin whining, in perfectly synchronized chorus, "What ever happened to 'innocent till proven guilty?'?

I expect BushCo to be whining that line the loudest and possibly using it as an excuse to keep the "Scooter" employed at the W.H. maybe with a lesser title but possibly doing the same job.

14. Now that we know the answer to that (he resigned) did you notice
that Bush just put out a statement that "Scooter is entitled to a presumption of innocence"? Ha ha! Told ya so!
