This news A) points to Cheney B) leads to ongoing investigation

From today's news, so far, we can say that we know these two things for sure. Right?

What else do we now know for certain? I mean as of 12:30 CST before Fitzgerald's conference.

BTW I knew Fitzmas would come on a Friday...anyone else?

Libby learned from the "Under Secretary of State" that Plame was CIA.

A "senior officer" at CIA confirmed that she worked there.

THEN CHENEY tells Libby that she works in the Counterproliferation Division - which means she is covert by definition.

When questioned by the GJ, Libby claims he had no idea she was CIA until Russert told him, and that Russert said all the reporters know it.

Russert denies saying this. Furthermore the statement is false on its face because Libby clearly already knew.

Who is he covering for? Cheney.
