Okay, so what happened to KR's indictment? What did his attorney
put in front of Fitzgerald that stopped, or slowed, the indictment? What's the best theory on why KR wasn't indicted today? Will he ever be indicted?

1. He gave someone else up in desperation.
But he remains in jeopardy.

4. That was my thought.
BushCo might approve such a move simply because Bush needs KR so much . . . ?

5. But couldn't it just as well be some bit of information that really does
stop Fitzgerald's case? Something he didn't know?

If it turns out to be bogus, or if he reneges on any part of his deal, it's bye bye Rover.

10. Wow, I wish I had this much faith in the system.
You all sound so optimistic and satisfied. Have any of you considered the fact that alot of pressure was put on Fitzgerald by the White House? Would this be unthinkable to you?

12. Threat of political trouble in the future, lack of advancement, etc.
Threats of physical harm are unnecessary. This White House is known for being intimidating, especially to those who aren't "loyal".

He's not out of danger, he's just bought himself some time. That's my feeling anyway.
