Joe Wilson's assessment of a "sad day" is simply not true for many
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 02:47 PM by Kurovski
With all due respect to former Ambassador Joe Wilson, I'm personally happy that after five years it appears there is a chance that we can once again regain our government.

It's a day of joy and long hoped-for comfort for those of us who watched in horror as America was denigrated on many levels by this administration, while few people seemed to care and some others took pains to silence us.

Many of us knew--yes, we knew--even during campaign 2000, what nonsense and danger America would have to endure with BushCo in the White House.

We wrote about it then, and have sacrificed years of our lives since to keep telling anyone who would listen.

Today is a day of happiness and some relief for those of us who have suffered with the knowledge that our government was being damaged daily for five years while concerned and aware citizens were basically ignored. At times even scorned for their activism.

It is perhaps a sad day for those to whom all this corruption is news, but for others, it's a day of thanksgiving that our Democracy has a chance to be returned to a path of decency.

4. He's not, it's just that this jack ass here is rushing things.
I'm trying to get everything done at once.

And now the thread is free to sink. :-)
