You know why it's not over?

Because Karl Rove hasn't been frogmarched out of the White House yet.
Ambassador Joe Wilson knew whereof he spoke. I really think Fitzgerald and Wilson are destined to help put the end to this evil regime. Keep the faith.

11. The fog may be lifting, but America is wounded and dying
The numbers on Lou Dobbs tonight don't lie. 37 million below poverty, 47 million without health care. Half of America's Hispanics and Blacks won't ever graduate high school. We have higher infant mortality rates in parts of this country than India. We have shorter average lifespans now than countries such as Japan and France, and we rank below 20 in both math and science.

I fear this generation growing up today will not do better or do as well as previous generations. (I am apart of this current generation) We're falling behind. We have been falling behind. This nation's days at the top are numbered, and the sun is slowly setting on the notion of "American exceptionalism" and American pre-eminence in the world.

America, as an entity, is poisoned by greed. We are going to inherit a nation that's choking to death on its own largesse and greed.

15. Yes I know that. Unfortunately the worst result, in my opinion, of the
years of this administration is that people are immune to others suffering or needs. Many are just overwhelmed by their own problems. Today we have knocked a big hole in the wall surrounding this administration. No one is saying there isn't work to be done. But we need to get these people out to change things.

6. Rove's attorneys have bought him a little time,
that's all that happened this week. But they won't be able to do that forever, unless Rove has something important to give Fitzgerald.

14. The grape yieldeth not, except to the foot. . .the foot of Fitz & Co.
Rove still has plenty of juice left in him for the courts to squeeze.

9. Fitz could have said,
"Libby, you're in trouble. Rove, you're off the hook." But what he ended up saying was, "Libby, you're in trouble. Rove, I'm not done with you yet."

12. I think that's wishful thinking, personally.

I doubt that Libby will squeal. The trial won't get underway for several months, and will drag out for some time- even without any amazing stalling on the part of Libby's lawyer.

I expect Bush will simply pardon Libby on his way out of the WH, and he won't see so much as a day in jail. After all, Bush Sr. did something similar for Reagan's criminals, and he didn't even suffer much public criticism.

Besides- Libby's indictment is an enormous blow to the Bush Administration. This criminal indictment is opening up ALOT of debate that I never expected to hear on US television. I just heard someone on CNN talking about what this indictment says about the Iraq invasion, clearly suggesting that the Bush Administration lied us into war.

And do you know what else? Let's be honest- Rove is a fucking idiot anyway. It's not like Bush is going to be on top again because he gets to keep his illusionist. He was with the Bush team on 9-10-01, too- you know. Back when Bush's approval was in the toilet. Bush has been skating on 9-11 all this time, and that is *over*.

If you're right, I will tip my hat to you- but right now I'm feeling pretty good about a Libby indictment.

16. Well, when the 'fat lady sings' Piggy KKKRove, is that you in disguise?
To use another baseball analogy...Hope you are right. I want Rove, Cheney and the entire rotten cabal in jail. I am slightly disappointed, but primarily because the main charge was not established. If a liar though, throws sand in the eyes of the ump, you might have to prove he's a liar before you can accuse him of other more serious charges?
