SERIOUS: Niger uranium lies are more than sufficient for impeachment!
Someone has to be responsible for this massive fuck up.

We all know Cheney knew this was a lie.

We all know Powell knew this was a lie.

The CIA isn't about to take the fall for this -- not without extracting a huge chunk of Bush's flesh, at least.

Bush's only possible defense is that he was "outside the loop." If he tries to use that "defense," it completely undermines his supposed national security advantage.

I know this is a little pin prick considering everything BushCo has pulled off to this point with complete impunity, but it's the first time the BFEE has been caught so red handed that the wound is still gushing blood with no bandages in sight on a topic that has proved to have more than a wisp of traction and shelf life.

Check out this thread on a discussion board filled with hardcore freepers who have no problem arguing the most inane Bush talking points at length:

Can you hear the crickets chirping?

2. They are raising "Plausible Deniability" to an art form.
and getting better at it by the day. I'm not expecting much from this, but we'll see.

3. well MAYBE if the democrats were not to busy whoring for Bush...
Had the democrats not pissed away their credibility by supporting the Bush regime they might have the credibility to do something about it.

It was obvious from the word go that anyone who could use Google! could absolutly destroy the case made by the administration, the democrats were knowingly and happily complicit with the Bush regime. And since they have destroyed their credibility along with the regime, they don't have the means to go after them.

Some days I wonder why I even remain an American citizen, when you see the so called opposition lining up to blow Bush it is hard to keep the faith.

The way things are today, I can't imagine ever comming home.

4. "Outside the Loop" = Moron, "In the Loop" = Liar
I wish that the old forums were active already so that I could bring up that slate.com screenshot: "Moron or Liar?" with Uber Moron Bush puffing his cheeks out like a...moron.

5. Pin the Blame on the CIA
Edited on Mon Jul-07-03 08:22 PM by Crisco
I think it's probably already pre-arranged the CIA will take the fall. This way, the Agency can be folded into Homeland Security.

6. No, the CIA won't just fold up their tent.
You've got another guess coming.

Why do you think Rummy needed a new Rummy Intelligence Group (RIG) in order to cook the intelligence?

7. Impeachment will be tough, what with the GOP majority and
the Dems that are acting like wannabe-Repugs. Anyway, if it came to that, he'd get another little invasion going to boost his ratings.
