Who Here Thinks There Are Trolls Here . . . .
no, not Democrats who might think Fitz fucked up, but trolls coming here to TRY and make trouble? I know there are always a few, but it does seem noticeable in this forum. I'll take it back if I'm wrong, and no, I'm not naming names.

8. I need to say
that just be careful who you accuse. There are many like myself who have a really low post count who are NOT trolls. Also remember that sometimes when a person is new to the board (which I am not) they aren't aware of the comments that will get them 'dissed'. I for one just don't post much, but I do read DU everyday. It's very intimidating thinking that you may make an innocent comment and then get called a troll. Just saying to keep that in mind....Please. Also, I realize that there really are 'trolls' here too.

21. You don't have to have a low post count to be a troll.

I've seen some who were very careful and managed to get fairly high post counts (usually in a short time) who turned out to be trolls.

Most of them show their true colors pretty quickly, though.

edit to add: I know a lot of people read DU but are afraid of posting because they are afraid they might be labled a troll.

To all DUer's, let me say that the Alert button works much better than "calling someone out".

The mods have pretty good troll testers. :-)

6. The indictments are huge. I am guessing we have a fair number of
what I shall politely refer to as 'short-term visitors'.

But I think there are also a handful of folks who are really here to figure this all out, who may be open-minded to the truth but who aren't well-versed in 'DU speak', if you will, and so who come across as shady...

To those folks I say Welcome to DU, and please be patient with us because we tend to get attacked in times like this, so we are especially suspicious.

when things are going well. Then there are the Eeyore Democrats who would think the glass was half full if Bush were packing his bags right this minute. Sometimes it is hard to differentiate between the trolls and the Eeyore Dems.
