Trent Lott just said that maybe Rove shouldn't be the chief
"policy" advisor AND the chief "politcal" advisor (on Hardball). That was a shocker. Sounds like they are jumping off Rove's boat.

2. Yeah...it was Rove who took Lott out via Russert.
Then they claimed it was the blogs.

7. It's his job to "moderate" the GOP...
All he has going for him is name recognition now. And everytime his fat head shows up on TV, his role is the moderate voice of the GOP. Screw him.

9. Yep. They are going to attempt to sacrifice him in exchange for no hearing
We've got them by the nuts and they are trying to cut a deal with our leadership. My response:

6. I thought I heard that, and asked spousette to spank me to see if it
really happened.

Remember, the WH pretty much stabbed him in the back, getting Frist to lead the pnac way to leadership. As conservative as he is, and as lame as most of his views are, one thing that Lott had was an old fashioned respect for the constitution and the institution, something frist and others do not have.

I can't stand lott, but the way the WH eroded his support and stomped on him, that was cruel. Talk about sweet revenge.

10. I wonder what it could be about Rove...
that makes their love so fleeting.

The truly gifted are so misunderstood.
