7 Billion flue shot?

The largest share (NBC News) would be to build up vaccine.

Seeing how I can (wholesale) buy flu vaccine for $10/dose, why do we need 700 million vaccines in a country of 300?

...but through the magic of the government bidding process, the US government (meaning us taxpayers) will probably end up paying ten times that amount.

5. 35 times. The $7.1 Bil is for 20 million people - If that means

20,000,000 shots/doses it comes to $350 apiece.

Ouch.

Now...at $350 a pop - just who will get them? Po' folk?

with the intellectual rights to Tamiflu.The sad thing is this drug is
not effective as a vaccine it wont prevent anyone from catching the burd flu,some say it might take a day off of misery from the 7/10 days of suffering from the flu.Meanwhile Dumsfeld sits back collecting
millions.

9. Randy said he was Chairman of The Board until he became

SOD. Apparently he recused himself from any decisions regarding the Bird Flu. In spite of what the CDC and WHO have said this is enough to make me think all this bird flu crap is bullshit. Kinda like we were all gonna get SARS a couple years ago...
